Records both sides
Your microphone and the meeting audio are captured as separate tracks. It works with Zoom, Meet or Teams, and there's no bot joining the call.
Live transcript
NVIDIA Parakeet transcribes as you talk, with word-level timings, in 25 European languages. Any gaps are filled in when the meeting ends.
Knows who's talking
Nemotron speaker separation splits the conversation by voice. Enrol a colleague once and Minutes recognises them by name in later meetings.
Notes with receipts
A local language model drafts a summary, decisions, open questions and action items. Each point links to the moment in the transcript it came from.

Minutes has no servers to send your audio to. Speech recognition, speaker separation and the language model all run on your own hardware. Once you've downloaded the models, it works with Wi-Fi turned off.

macOS 14.6 or later on Apple Silicon. Windows 10 or later (x64) is in testing. Models are downloaded once, from about 3 GB to 25 GB depending on your tier.
Questions
Does anything get uploaded?
No. The only network requests are to download models, and to Notion or Linear if you connect them and approve a sync.
Do I need a bot in the call?
No. Minutes captures your computer's audio output directly, so it works with any meeting app, and in the room with just the microphone.
How accurate is it?
Parakeet TDT v3 is one of the most accurate open speech models. Every note links to the transcript it came from, so you can check it, and you can edit anything.
Should I tell people I'm recording?
Yes. Minutes reminds you to let everyone know before you start. Recording laws vary, so check what applies where you are.
macOS says it can’t verify the app. What do I do?
Preview builds aren’t signed or notarised yet. Drag Minutes to Applications, then right-click it and choose Open, and confirm in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Minutes.app in Terminal. Older builds are on GitHub.
What does it cost?
Nothing to run. There are no subscriptions or usage fees, because all of the AI runs on your own hardware.
